Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Semabu Hills Hotel Nusa Penida, I had the pleasure of dining at the Castaway Restaurant, where my culinary journey began with a diverse selection of Asian and Indonesian dishes. The ambiance struck a balance between modern chic and local charm, making every meal a delightful experience. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a generous spread that catered to various tastes; as a mountaineer who appreciates wholesome nutrition, I found it both satisfying and invigorating. The bar area, with its poolside views, was perfect for unwinding with a refreshing drink after a day of exploring the island. The attentive staff, especially during meal service, ensured a seamless experience, assisting with anything we needed. Semabu Hills was not just a stay—it was a gastronomic retreat worth sharing with fellow food enthusiasts and travelers alike.
